Built for inbound marketing, priced in dollars, blind to a commission
6Degrees vs HubSpot
HubSpot is the best inbound marketing machine on this list and it is not close. It is also priced in dollars, sold on contact tiers, and built for a company whose leads arrive through a form on a website. An Indian channel partner buys leads from 99acres and MagicBricks and closes about one in forty. The shape does not fit.
The short answer
Pick HubSpot if inbound content is how you get buyers and you are selling in dollars. Pick 6Degrees if your buyers come from portals, site visits and other brokers, and your unpaid invoices come from developers.
Eight points, side by side
Checked 13 August 2026 against hubspot.com/pricing/sales. These are the eight things 6Degrees is built to win, which is the honest way to read any vendor’s table: it is our axis, and you are allowed to decide it is the wrong one.
| What it does | 6Degrees | HubSpot |
|---|---|---|
| Whose ledger it is | YesYours. It spans every developer you work with. | YesYours, on the seats you pay for. |
| Timestamped lead registration | YesYes. The server sets the date. The client cannot. | NoNo referral object. Deal create-dates are editable. |
| Claim validity window | YesYes. A booked site visit extends it 30 days. | NoNo. Workflows can imitate one until somebody edits the property. |
| Published tie-break rule | YesYes. First verified tag, and the buyer’s own confirmation outranks it. | NoNo. Duplicate management, not claim adjudication. |
| One ledger across many developers | YesYes. Seven builders, one ledger. | NoNothing models a developer empanelment or a brokerage rate. |
| Server-dated interaction trail | YesYes. Create-only. Nobody can backdate or delete a call. | PartlyTimeline is rich and largely editable by an admin. |
| Evidence pack you can attach to a claim | YesYes. One dated pack: terms, timestamp, confirmation, site visit, timeline. | NoNo. A deal record is not built to be read by anyone outside your portal. |
| Self-serve export and cancel | YesYes. CSV and JSON, any day, no ticket. | PartlyExport is self-serve. Annual terms and seat minimums are not. |
What HubSpot does better
- 1/Sales Hub publishes its ladder: free for two users, Starter from $7 a seat a month, Professional from $90. Enterprise starts at $150 and still routes you to sales.
- 2/Sequences, meeting links, quotes, forecasting and reporting are all first rate.
- 3/The free tier is genuinely usable, and for a two-person shop doing content marketing it may be all you need.
- 4/The largest app marketplace in the category.
What 6Degrees does that HubSpot does not
- 1/Prices in rupees, published, month to month.
- 2/The object at the centre is the referral, so a claim has a timestamp, a window, a rival and an outcome.
- 3/The evidence pack exists because MahaRERA dismissed a registered agent’s brokerage claim on 22 May 2026, saying there is no explicit provision under RERA to grant such reliefs. What lost him that case was a missing written agreement and an unprovable attribution trail.
- 4/Tablet-first, 44 points on everything tappable, because it is used standing at a site with one hand on a car door.
The thing both products are arguing about
A referral in Indian real estate has a rupee value, a counterparty, a deadline and a rival. That makes it an object with a state machine, not a note on a contact. Once you accept that, the only remaining question is whose database the object lives in, and the answer decides who can still read it after you stop working with that builder.
