AI-forward, developer-first, with a channel partner module bolted to the side
6Degrees vs PropFlo
PropFlo sells to the developer and gives the channel partner a portal. That is the standard shape in this market and there is nothing dishonest about it. It does mean the answer to the only question you have, across all seven builders, is not something PropFlo is built to give you.
The short answer
Pick PropFlo if you are a developer and post-sales is your pain. Pick 6Degrees if you are the channel partner and you would like the record of your own work to be yours.
Eight points, side by side
Checked 13 August 2026 against propflo.ai. These are the eight things 6Degrees is built to win, which is the honest way to read any vendor’s table: it is our axis, and you are allowed to decide it is the wrong one.
| What it does | 6Degrees | PropFlo |
|---|---|---|
| Whose ledger it is | YesYours. It spans every developer you work with. | NoThe developer’s instance. You are a guest in it. |
| Timestamped lead registration | YesYes. The server sets the date. The client cannot. | PartlyBroker leads are registered and attributed inside that developer’s account. |
| Claim validity window | YesYes. A booked site visit extends it 30 days. | NoNo claim window is published. |
| Published tie-break rule | YesYes. First verified tag, and the buyer’s own confirmation outranks it. | NoNo published tie-break rule. |
| One ledger across many developers | YesYes. Seven builders, one ledger. | NoOne developer per instance. |
| Server-dated interaction trail | YesYes. Create-only. Nobody can backdate or delete a call. | PartlyActivity logging, editable by the developer’s admin. |
| Evidence pack you can attach to a claim | YesYes. One dated pack: terms, timestamp, confirmation, site visit, timeline. | NoNo. The dispute file, if there is one, belongs to the developer. |
| Self-serve export and cancel | YesYes. CSV and JSON, any day, no ticket. | NoThe data belongs to the developer who bought the licence. |
What PropFlo does better
- 1/A channel-partner module, broker domain management and commission calculation, which most Indian CRMs do not ship at all.
- 2/Strong post-sales: customer portal, demand letters, collections, handover. Developers care about this and 6Degrees does none of it.
- 3/AI features across lead scoring and follow-up drafting.
- 4/If your developer runs PropFlo, the partner portal costs you nothing.
What 6Degrees does that PropFlo does not
- 1/Your ledger, across every developer, in one screen.
- 2/A claim has a window and a rule, so a collision resolves the same way every time and both timestamps are shown.
- 3/The evidence pack is built to be attached to a civil claim, because RERA has no forum for a brokerage dispute.
- 4/You can leave, and the claim history leaves with you.
The thing both products are arguing about
A referral in Indian real estate has a rupee value, a counterparty, a deadline and a rival. That makes it an object with a state machine, not a note on a contact. Once you accept that, the only remaining question is whose database the object lives in, and the answer decides who can still read it after you stop working with that builder.
